“Will my tan streak or go patchy?” está bloqueado Will my tan streak or go patchy?

The Natural Sun self tan range contains a guide colour so you can see exactly where you put it. You don’t need to worry about applying too much – only missed bits can give an uneven, or patchy finish.

Will I turn orange or go too dark?

You will not turn orange – our self tan range contains a green natural pigment to help counteract any orange tinge. Our products are uniquely formulated to work with your natural skin tone so, as your tan develops it will only go as dark as your skin would naturally tan. So you don’t need to worry about putting on too much – only missed bits can give an uneven finish.

Why is Natural Sun different?

We’re different because we give an entirely natural-looking result, first time every time. When we launched we made a major technological breakthrough in self-tanning because only our formulation had a unique combination of DHA and aloe vera that prevented the skin dryness often associated with self tanning lotions. Besides, we made another innovative coup by adding an ingredient sourced from raspberries called Erythrulose. Expensive, but well worth it, this ingredient helps boost moisture and give a more even tan that will last longer.

Why do self tanners smell?
The characteristic smell doesn’t come from the product but from a chemical reaction on the skin, however Natural Sun is different from everyone else because we’ve developed a revolutionary fragrance free formula that replaces that tell-tale aroma.
What should I do if I think I’m sensitive or allergic to Natural Sun?
Always conduct a small patch test in a sensitive area such as the inner arm 24 hours before full application, just in case of any reaction and to ensure you do not have any sensitivity to the ingredients.

How long my tan will last?

Usually, a Natural Sun tan will last between 5-7 days, depending on your skin type and how you care for it. To help make sure that the tan looks great for as long as possible, you should use a moisturizer to nourish and condition your skin.

How long do I need to wait before showering?

Ideally leave it for 8 hours – the tan will keep developing for up to 24 hours.

How does Natural Sun work?

Natural Sun formulations contain a unique combination of two completely safe active ingredients that work together to give a gorgeously natural looking colour that fades naturally, too. The first, dihydroxyacetone (or DHA for short) is a colourless sugar that interacts with the amino acids in the surface layer of the skin to produce a temporary colour change – your tan. This ingredient is combined with Erythrulose, a naturally moisturising ingredient derived from raspberries, that works in the same way as DHA but it develops more slowly, giving you a smoother colour that lasts longer and fades more evenly.

Does Natural Sun protect me from U.V. exposure?

No. There are no sun filters in Natural Sun products so it’s very important that you still use a sun protection product with sufficient levels of SPF when exposing your skin to the sun.

Can Natural Sun cover stretch marks or scars?

Yes, carefully apply Natural Sun Bronzing Lotion to the area with a cotton bud. Leave for at least 8 hours, wash away guide colour then apply your all-over tan as normal. If the tan is not dark enough, repeat approximately every 8 hours until the stretch mark or scar is disguised.

Can Natural Sun be used during pregnancy?

Yes, our main tanning agent is dihydroxyacetone, which has no known toxicity. Natural Sun only works upon the uppermost layers of the skin and cannot get into the bloodstream from normal application. However, be aware that hormonal changes during pregnancy (especially during the first 3 months) may affect the development of the tan. Do not apply to the breast area if breastfeeding.

Can I swim once I have applied Natural Sun?

You must not wash, bath, swim, shower or exercise within the development time. You can swim once your tan has developed but swimming in the sea and chlorinated pools may result in your tan fading more quickly.

Is Natural Sun healthy?

Yes, in addition to being harmless to the skin, it produces a perfect and natural tan that helps improve self-esteem and your sense of well-being. The components of Natural Sun are totally natural and have all the guarantees of quality. It is a tan recommended by doctors around the world.

I have vitiligo, which means that uneven pigmentation in my skin gives me patches of colour, can Natural Sun help me disguise this?

Natural Sun will help to cover up Vitiligo. We recommend you apply Natural Sun DHA SPRAY to the lighter areas as thickly as possible, dilute using Body Moisturiser and apply with a cotton bud to the darker edges if necessary. Then, allow to dry. Allow to develop, ideally overnight, before washing off the guide colour to reveal your tan. If the tan is not dark enough, repeat again. (more…)
